SHRI. MUTHU PANDI

Shri. Muthu Pandi obtained his UG in BSc, Geography at JNRM College Port Blair and his MA in Anthropology at IGNOU Port Blair. He worked on the "Concurrent Evaluation of Implementation of the National Food Security Act 2013," sponsored by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, and he served for 4 years as a Senior Research Fellow at the Anthropological Survey of India, Andaman and Nicobar Regional Port Blair. He also wrote seven research articles, including two that were published in international journals, and wrote popular articles for local newspapers in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Shri. Muthu Pandi previously worked with the people of Bhantu, Moplah communities in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, as well as studied the Piramalai Kallar community in Tamil Nadu. At present, he was a freelance anthropologist.
