Mr. Velladurai Narayanan is currently a Ph.D. scholar in Psychiatric Nursing and holds an M.Sc. in Nursing, an M.A. in Sociology, and PGDHM, CMS & ED, CCBSS credentials. He currently serves as a Professor and Head in the department of Psychiatric Nursing at Rohilkhand College of Nursing, Bareilly International University, Uttar Pradesh, India. He earned his master's degree in psychiatric nursing from Saveetha College of Nursing, Saveetha University, Chennai. He obtained his B.Sc. in Nursing from Matha College of Nursing, affiliated with Dr. MGR Medical University. With over 18 years of experience in nursing, he has held various roles, including clinical practitioner, nurse educator, professor, and nursing college principal in India. He is the recipient of several awards and honors, including the Best Faculty Award, Young Researcher Award/Young Achiever Award, The Inspiring Icon Award, Global Faculty Award, Best Guest Lecturer, and the Dronacharya Award for interdisciplinary academic achievements and humanitarian endeavors. He is a member of the editorial board of various national and international journals and has contributed to numerous research articles in reputable publications. He has organized workshops, presented scientific papers, and served as a resource person at national and international conferences and workshops. Additionally, he has authored several books. Actively involved in nursing associations such as TNAI, ISPN, NTAI, NRSI, etc. Additionally, he has served as an Ad-Hoc Inspector for UPSMFC and acts as an external examiner at various universities. He serves as a Center Superintendent for the UPSMF Board examination. He has also provided guidance to M.Sc., B.Sc., P.B.B.Sc., and GNM students in research endeavors. He is dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and values essential for success in their nursing careers. He has offered guidance for numerous research projects, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
