Dr. Nazima Munshi is with the SVKM's NMIMS, Kirit P. Mehta School of Law. She has done her interdisciplinary doctorate in History of Trademarks.Dr. Munshi is an academician and teaches IPR at SVKM's NMIMS. She presently gives lectures at various institutions like Jitendra Chauhan College of law, Sunandan Divatia School of Science and Mukesh Patel School of Technology, Management & Engineering apart from NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law. She has numerous years of experience in teaching law and history and also has some prior corporate training experience. She has held several positions of responsibility at various functions and zones. Her expertise in Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and Human Rights. She was a Permanent member for United Nations Office at Geneva for European Union Public Relation (NGO)-1997-1998-1999 and a Coordinator for Hague Appeal for Peace May 1999, Hague, Netherlands.Dr. Munshi has also worked as an advocate for property matters. Apart from being a law graduate from Mumbai University, she is also a postgraduate with M.Phil in History from Bombay University. She has also completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law & Practice from Institute of Intellectual Property Studies, Mumbai. Dr. Munshi was invited by the Japan Patent Office for JPO/IPR Training Course for IP Trainers in Japan. Dr. Munshi has received an award for "IP Excellence in INDIA Award 2016" from Director Questel on "The Best Practices in Patents & Awarding the IP excellence of India".
