Dr. Nilanjan Chakraborty works as an Assistant Professor in Panchla Mahavidyalaya, Howrah, West Bengal. He is a Visiting Faculty in the Department of English (PG Section), Women's College, Calcutta. He completed his PhD from the Department of English of Kalyani University on the fiction of Chinua Achebe and Amitav Ghosh. He has a published monograph from Cambridge Scholars's Publishing on the use of myth in the fiction of Chinua Achebe and Amitav Ghosh. His research interests include Postcolonial Theory and fiction, Popular Culture and late twentieth century Indian Writings in English.
