Dr. A. P. Nirmala, received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Karpagam University, Coimbatore. She has received her MCA and M. Phil., in Computer Science from Bharathiar University,  Coimbatore. She has secured 2nd Rank in her Bachelor Degree in Physics. She is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Master of Computer Applications, New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore, India. She has 18 years of teaching experience. She has published 20 Research papers in   various National & International Journals including Scopus indexed. She has presented 10 research papers in National Conferences. She has published 2 Books on Operating system and Human Computer Interaction. She was being a Session Chair & Technical Program Committee member for International Conferences and Reviewer for    International Journal. She was convener for National Workshop on “Cloud    Computing and Big Data - Advancement and Research opportunities” conducted by Department of MCA, New Horizon College of Engineering. Her research area includes Cloud  Computing, Virtualization and Cyber Security. She has life  membership in CSI and ISTE .
