Nirmal Singh is pursuing Ph.D. in Department of Seed Science and Technology of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University and post graduated from Dr. Y. S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan, Himachal Pradesh. He has been working on synthesis and application of nanoparticles in agricultural crops. He has worked as visiting intern in Massey University, New Zealand under SPARC project entitled "Standardization of seed testing procedures and storability for medicinal plants (Moringa and Gokhru)" under guidance of Dr. Axay Bhuker (Assistant Scientist, Department of SST. CCSHAU. Hisar) and Craig Robert McGill (Former president of ISTA). He has published 7 research papers and 3 review articles in journals of international and national repute along with 2 book chapters and 10 popular articles. He is also a lifetime member of several professional societies
