Noorul Islam is an Associate Professor and Head of Department in the Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Kanpur Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. He obtained his B.E.(Electrical Engineering), M.Tech. (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) and Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) from the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur, Dr. A.P.J.  Abdul  Kalam  Technical  University (APJAKTU), Lucknow and Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 2019, respectively. He has received numerous awards. His research interests include Soft Computing, Solar Photovoltaic Technology, FACTS, Power System Optimization and Control. He has published many research papers in SCI and SCOOPUS indexed journals. He has organised various International conferences, webinars and FDPs. Dr. Noorul is the life member of IAENG and the member of IEEE-CIS Society.
