Dr. A.D. Padmasree has graduated from the St. Judes College, Thoothoor, M.S University, Tirunelveli. She has completed M.A., M.Phil. from the School of Historical Studies, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. She did Ph.D in the same department under the guidance of Dr.D. Daniel, Emeritus Professor, Head & Chair Person, School of Historical Studies, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.   She is working as Assistant Professor of History in the prestigious Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women (Autonomous) from June, 2014. Prior to joining she worked in South Travancore Hindu College, Nagercoil from April, 2011 to March, 2013. She associated with several academic bodies like South Indian History Congress and Indian History Congress. Many of her writings of general and academic interest have been published in reputed journals
