Dr S. K. Pandit is the member of Indian psychiatry society and also life member of Indian Yoga Association, WB. After completing his basic medical degree M.B.B.5 from RGKMCH, Calcutta in year 2005 he had worked as House-physician in department of cardiology at same mother institute and served the cardiology department for next 06 months than he shifted to R.N. Tagore International Institute Of Cardiac Sciences and American Church trauma Center, Kolkata till mid of 2007. During later months of 2007 he quit that private institute and shifted to CENTRAL HOSPITA, as a medical officer where he stayed fill 2016 mid and then went to complete his higher study in Neuro-psychiatry medicine. Dr S. K Pandit then joined Institute Of Psychiatry, Institute Of Post Graduate Medical Education And Research at Kolkata till 2018 and there he completed his post-graduation DPM (psychiatry). He get awarded with the D.P.M (psychiatry) and joined back central hospital again as head of the psychiatry department. During year 2019 and 2020. He resigned this institute on 27th Dec 2023 and joined Apollo clinic in Kolkata at Bele Ghata and started his own practices to serve common people. He completed his D.C.M.H from NIMHANS (National Institute Of Mental Health And Neurosciences) DIGITAL ACADEMY, VERTUAL KNOWLEDGE NETWORK, BENGALURU and also completed his CCB0AM. CC PSYCHOTROPHIC MEDICINE from same institute and platform. Dr Pandit has been awarded with many more certificates and awards at different forum. He is a yoga wellness instructor along with yoga teacher Evaluator from Yoga Certification Board (Y. C. B) as per guideline of Ministry of AYUSHI, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA. Ile is awarded with certificates of yoga protocol instructor, yoga wellness Instructor, and completed YT&E from YCB. His active participation and contribution toward celebration of INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY is appreciable. He is dedicated social reformer to encourage young during their failure to bring the celebration & the praise of success. He is a good educationist and engage at with many teaching institute and university to render his voluntary services and a movement to spread education to establish the right to education to all. Dr Pandit is a special/guest lecturer and , clinical supervisor for students of MSc clinical psychology and MSc Rehabilitation psychology at KAZI NAZRUL UNIVERSITY, DEPARTEMENT OF APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY, WB, INDIA. Dr pandit has elegant contribution in research work and his one of the joint published symposium paper is "DEPRESSION ACCROS THE LIFE" during year 2019 during 03 days national conference on "ENTITELMENT EQUALITY AND MENTAL HEALTH CONTEMPORARY PSYCHOSOCIAL PERSPECTIVES" that was conducted by KNU ,and sponsored by INDIAN COUNCIL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH(ICSSR) AND ACCREDITED BY REHABILITATION COUNCIL OF INDIA. Dr pandit had conducted many mental health elevation and supportive virtual program,, webinars at different teaching institute during COVID19 PANDEMIC to help children, toddlers, adolescents and adult and populations at different teaching institutes including Loreto house, Kolkata, Loreto convent Asansol, all India Loreto Education board etc. During COVID19 pandemic to boost mental health of communities and young generation, Dr pandit had actively conducted many seminars on virtual & social platforms and participated many faculties development program organized by different institute, organization including ECL, ASANSOL, and AMITY UNIVERSITY, KOLKATA where he participated as resource speaker and lecturer in a FIVE DAYS FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ON Mental and Behavioral Health of Students: Bridging the Teacher Student Gap' ORGANIZED BY Course Contents Amity Institute of Behavioral Health and Allied Sciences, Amity University, Kolkata. He had put his special support to geriatric group and is attached with the many homes and charity to serve geriatric and special population at different institute af different palaces. Few of of them is the charity clinic of THE RAMKRISHNA MISSION NEW TEMPLE" at Asansol and "LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR",- A retirement home at Kolkata.
