Haris Parengal (born on 7 March 1988) is an Indian biotechnologist and an administrator; he is leading and renowned for his research in Microbial interactions. Dr. Haris P is the founder Director of CTBC as of 2017. Prior to that, he had held research positions with the Kerala Agricultural University and Gandhigram Rural University. He also worked as a Research Fellow with several national and international research organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme and Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT, Govt. of India).
