Parvaiz Ahmed Reshi has done his Ph.D from the Division of Animal Nutrition, SKUAST-Kashmir. He has been involved in Extension, Teaching and Research since 2010. After completing M.V.Sc in the Discipline of Animal Nutrition, he joined MJF College of veterinary sciences, Jaipur (Rajasthan) as Assistant Professor. He served as Teaching Assistant in the Department of Animal Nutrition at Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) in the year 2011. He also served as Assistant Professor at Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Amritsar, (Punjab) from 2012 to 2013. He joined SKUAST-Kashmir as Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science) in 2013 and was involved exhaustively in Extension work till 2019. He has written several research papers in national and international journals related to Animal Sciences. He has been actively involved in organising various training, awareness and skill development programmes for farmers, rural youth and rural women. He has a great contribution in transferring latest technologies of livestock farming from lab to land. The Editor is also actively involved in various externally funded projects, introduction of Horti-Poultry Model, implementation of Tribal Sub Plan and many internally funded research projects. He is also credited for his exhaustive study on mineral profile of livestock feeds & fodders and formulating the area specific mineral mixture for cattle in kashmir for the first time.
