Dr. Prabhavathi S is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Rao Bhadur Y Mahabaleshwarappa Engineering College, Bellary, Karnataka. Her total teaching experience spans over a period of 25 years. She received the PhD degree from JNTUA Ananthpur, Andhra Pradesh , M.Tech degree in Computer Network Engineering from VTU Belgaum, Karnataka, M.S degree in Electronics & Control from BITS Pillani, Rajasthan and BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gulbarga University, Karnataka. She has published one Patent and 30 research papers in leading National and International Journals. Currently she is an active life member of IEEE, IETE, ISTE, IAENG and IEAE. She received Excellence in Teaching Award from NATS Convention, DALLAS, TX, USA. Her Research areas of interest are Computer Networking and Embedded System.
