Dr. Prashanti Rao is an Architect, Urban Planner and PhD, she is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Architecture at School Of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada.  She has an work experience of  more than 10 years in industry and 9 in academia. She worked in  prestigious projects of government like Integrated cluster action plan MP, worked for master plan project of Obedullaganj. Apart from that at present she is working at present in GIS based Masterplan for Eluru package. She is an editor of  three reputed international journal  and also member advisory for Union Public Service Commission New Delhi. Received  appreciation award for her Phd from Indian Institute of Town Planner, M.P Chapter. She published more than 25 papers in reputed journals, organized Faculty Development Program and published two books in field of planning.
