Dr. Rahul Kumar Santosh Son of Lt. Jagdish Prasad Bhagat and Lt.Sandhya Rani Bhagat. He was born on 01 January 1979 in Sido Kanhu's birth place cum Karma Bhoomi Block - Barhait District - Sahibganj, State - Jharkhand. He qualified M.A. Economics in 2002 and M.Ed.in 2007 from Patna University . In 2008, he got the degree of Ph.D. from Patna University itself on the subject of 'Industrial Development in Jharkhand:Problems and Prospects'. He passed the JET (Jharkhand State SLET exam) and UGC NET Exam (Three Times). In 2008, he was selected by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Ranchi for the post of Assistant Professor (Economics). Since 1st Feb 2021 he is working as Prof. In-Charge  in Sahibganj College, Sahibganj (Sido-Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka, Jharkhand). So far, Dr. Santosh has participated in more than 20 national and international seminars and more than 13 articles have been published in various research journals.He has also written two Books Namely Paryawaran Arthshastra Ki Maulik Niti & Micro Economics.
