Dr. Ramananda HS has completed his BSc from Kuvempu University and MSc & PhD from Mangalore University. His main research interest is algebra, specifically lattice theory. He has 22 years of teaching experience and 12 years of research experience. Dr. Ramananda has published 16 articles in national and international journals and presented more than 20 research papers in national and international conferences. He has received awards for his achievements, including the Best Paper Presentation Award from the Indian Science Congress held in Thiruvananthapuram in 2010 and the IMS Best Paper Presentation Award in 2011 held at Allahabad University.

He has been invited to give talks at many institutions and has organized several workshops in his institution. Dr. Ramananda has guided 12 MSc research projects and has supervised 2 research scholars who have completed their PhD under his guidance. He is an internationally certified engineering educator, certified by IUCEE.

Teaching mathematics through software is his passion. He gives talks on LaTeX, Geogebra, Google apps, SPSS statistical software, Matlab, Python, etc.

He is one of the authors of the Python Mathematics Manual for VTU colleges.
 

Currently, Dr. Ramananda is the Dean of Student Welfare at St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangalore.
