Dr. Ravi Shrinivasan born in small hamlet in the Villupuram District of Tamilnadu. He was completed Matriculation from Tindivanam and obtained Post graduation in Biotechnology from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad in Gujarat State and Periyar University, Salem. He was honorarily obtained Doctorate in Science for his long service in the field of Alcohol manufacturing Companies in various states in India. He got professional experience in the field of waste water engineering and waste management. He was associated with various reputed institutions like National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur, South Indian Sugarcane technologists Association, Chennai. He was presented many articles in the field of Ethanol and sustainable agriculture through distillery waste etc. He got individual expertise in bio-composting through various agricultural and industrial wastes. He is presently working with Amaravathi Co-Op Sugar Mills, Distillery unit in Tiruppur District. He has poetry talent in Tamil and English and published them.
