Dr Rama Kant Singh, is working as Scientist (Soil Science) in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Rohtas under Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur, Bihar. He did M.Sc. (Ag) and Ph.D. in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry Pratap Autonomous College, Varanasi, U.P. at V.B.S. Poorvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. He is recipient of 'Gold Medal' honour of M.Sc. (Ag) degree. He had published 6 book chapters, 22 research paper, 82 research abstracts,25 articles published in national and international magazines and 27 technical bulletins for support of researcher and farmers. He had attended several seminar, symposia, conferences and workshops on National and International level and has made more than 36 presentations in these academic events. Dr Singh received several awards viz best seminar award 2002 by Indian Society of Soil Science, "Young Scientist Award-2017" by Society for Scientific Development in Agriculture & Technology, "Eminent Scientist Award-2018" by Agro-Environmental Development Society (AEDS) 2018, “Excellence of Extension Award' 2018 by Society for Agriculture Innovation & Development etc. He is also associated with 10 scientific societies Which are engaged in agricultural development of the country.
