Dr. Abhijit Das: Obtained M.Sc. (1st class) and Ph.D. Degree (as UGC, NET fellow) from the University of Calcutta and presently an Associate Professor in Anthropology, West Bengal State University, Barasat, West Bengal. He has successfully guided four Ph.D. scholars (two awarded and four ongoing), has twenty years of teaching experience in three UG colleges & University and twenty years of research experience in the variegated areas (games & sports, literary anthropology, tourism, tribal music, water in culture, education in culture etc.) of advanced Social-Cultural Anthropology. He has already published nearly forty research articles (both in English and Bengali) in national and international journals and books of excellent repute. He has also received three awards on his excellency in teaching & research from international agencies.
