Soumitri Roy was born in the year 1988, grew up with the passion for airplane from her childhood and had opted aircraft maintenance engineering and completed BAMEC in aviation holding AME licence on radio navigation, electronics and instrumentation. Apart from science stream, she has also completed her bachelor degree and master degree in commerce, post graduate diploma in international business and bachelor degree in education. In her school days she was sportive and aspired to be an athlete but in her earlier life, she faced several struggles and failures. Being a learner by nature, she chose to be an educator in her career and is able to gather a teaching experience of 8 years. Her source of inspiration are children. Being a self motivator she loves to motivate the learners. Apart from her academic and professional career, she is also a good dancer and painter.
