Dr. Satyajit Panda, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, Institute of Pharmacy and Technology, Salipur, Cuttack, Odisha, India has been in the teaching profession for fourteen years. He has completed his M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Technology) from Biju Pattnaik University of Technology in 2008, and Ph.D. from Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Odisha in 2016. He is a Life member of APTI, Life member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) and Life member of Institute of Scholars. He was the winner of the international e-competition “Skills Test-2011”; Received “Young Researcher Award 2021” from prestigious organization, Institute of Scholars; Best poster presentation award on the topic entitled “The epidemiology of varicose vein: A survey in Andhra Pradesh”, in 66th IPC, 2015, held at Hyderabad, India; Acted as an evaluator from east zone for Disso Research Presentations India 2021 (DRPI), conducted by Society for Pharmaceutical Dissolution Science (SPDS) in collaboration with AAPS and APTI. He has actively participated as an Organizing Team Member and framed question banks (Pharmaceutics) for IPA-68th IPC National Pharma Quiz competition held at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He has published two books (Kindle edition); six book chapters; many lesson notes for School of distance education, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. He has published 04 Indian patents; received one German patent grant; and has many research publications to his credit. He has performed the role of a reviewer and acting as an editorial Board Member in various journals of national and international repute. He has done commendable research work in the areas of Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Evaluation of natural products as novel excipients, Self emulsifying drug delivery systems, microencapsulation, Bioadhesives, Oleogel, Bigel dosage forms etc.
