Prof Sunil K Kabia specializes in Tour Packing/Operations/ Marketing/Management. Tourism Planning, Air Cargo Operations & Management, Hotel Economics, Pilgrimage and Alternative areas of studies in Tourism. He had done his doctoral thesis on Pilgrimage and New Tourism'. Dr. Kabla joined the pioneering Master Degree Course of the country at Kurushetra University and thereafter worked with some leading travel trade organizations, as also at the duty free shop(s), IGI Airport, New Delhi, for about Two Years. His keen Inclination towards academics motivated him to Join Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Gwalior as Assistant Professor. Having worked in this Apes Tourism Institution of the country for about six years, Dr. Kabia joined as Reader at lastitute of Tourism & Hotel Management, Bundelkhnad University, Jhansi, in the year 2001, became Professer in 2009, and has held several responsible positions like Director-ITHM, Director IQAC, Dean Student Welfare, Proctor, Provost at Bundelkhand University. To his credit, Dr. Kabla has many applied research problems/consultancy projects for tourism & hospitality enterprises, a good number of popular articles research paper and thought provoking deliberations in National and International Seminars/Workshops/ Conferences, alongside being as author of four books on various themes of Tourism and Hospitality. Dr. Kalia has the race feat to be the Qualified Trainer of South Asia-ITHRDP and LATA. He is also Certified Teacher Trainer from the Ministry of Personnel and Training (Gast of India) and Member to Expert Committee on Tourism and Hospitality appointed by International Lalmar Organzation, Bangkok, and various committers of AICTE, UGC.UPTU besides being on the expert panel of Tourism departments of many Universities/Institutes
