Dr. Sonia Abraham currently serves as the Head of the English Department at Delhi Public School, Bilaspur. Dr Sonia is also a Core Team Member at Edvishan Training Centre and has played a crucial role as a Resource Person, conducting webinars for teachers. With a distinguished educational background that includes a Doctorate Degree in English, an MPhil, and a Master's Degree in Education, she brings nearly two decades of teaching experience to her role. Throughout her illustrious educational career, Dr. Abraham has garnered numerous achievements and recognitions. In 2023, she received the prestigious Shiksha Bhushan Puraskar-2023, from CED India, Edvishan Edu-Excellence Award from Edvishan Training Centre. In 2020, she was recognized with the Global Teachers Award by CED and GTE, highlighting her commitment to the field. The Ministry of Human Resource Development acknowledged her contributions with appreciation letters in both 2015 and 2014. Additionally, Dr. Abraham earned the title of Best Teacher from Delhi Public School Bilaspur in 2013 and 2014 and was recognized by the Rotary Club in 2013.Dr. Abraham has also contributed to the academic community by presenting six papers in National Seminars organized by institutions like ICSSR, IQAC, NAAC, and UGC.
