Dr. Tangirala Sree Latha, a darling daughter of the most adorable couple late Smt. Adi Lakshmi Kameswari & Sri. Radha Krushna Murthy has been an educator since 1995. With the blessings of Goddess Durga she was graduated from Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhardha Mahila Kalasala, Vijayawa, M.A. in English from Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada and M.Phil in English from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamilnadu. She recieved Ph.D in English from Karpagam University Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. She started her teaching career in 1995 working for Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhardha Mahila Kalasala, Vijayawada. Then she moved to Vijaya Krishna Educational Institutions, Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions, and KL University. Presently she has been heading the Training Team, working as Professor of English in the Training and Placement Cell, NRI Institute of Technology Vijayawada since 2010. She is a bilingual poet,( English and Telugu) and has acquired reputation as a poet who was honored at the national and international poetry festivals conducted at GIPF Guntur, at the International Multilingual Poets’- Women, Wit & Wisdom. Her poetic endeavor started in 1990 during her graduation days and continued with periodical intervals. Besides poetry she is good at playing Veena, a few games and reading great pieces of literature both in English and Telugu. She is good at both indoor and outdoor games in which she won many prizes at school and college level; even during her professional career. She has to her credit many research articles published in various national and international conferences, journals and e- journals. She also attended many seminars, conferences and workshops to update and upgrade her knowledge which in turn enhances the quality of her teaching. This debut attempt DIAMOND INDIA-UNHEARD SONGS OF OBSCURE HEROES is her contribution to the Nation on the eve of 75th Independence Day. It is a presentation of the heroic achievements of many patriots who fought for the Nation and remained in darkness; either forgotten or ignored. She assures that the anthology would cherish readers with the dedicated resistance of the valiant ‘Diamonds’ which definitely finds an honorable place among their treasured literary pieces.
