Dr. Sukhdev Singh, Associate Professor Department of English, The North-Eastern Hill University, Tura Campus Meghalaya (India). He works in the areas of sexuality and gender studies with a thrust on literature, literary theory, and religion. He wrote a thesis on the Kamasutra, and earned a PhD degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Besides academics, he is an award-winning writer of short stories, and he is interested in photography and cycling.
