Dr. M.Sumathy This book is my original Ph.D. thesis.  I am a gold medallist in BA and MA English. I have been an outstanding student in my school and college days. I have bagged several awards in elocution, essay, and quiz competitions. I worked in the Tamil Nadu Revenue Department for five years. Then I worked in an Engineering college in Chennai for ten years. At present, I am an Associate Professor and Head of the English Department at Annai Veilankanni's  College for Women, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. I have eleven years of exciting teaching experience. Teaching has been my passion right from childhood. This passion drove me to resign from even a Government job with good scope in the future and switch over to teaching as a career. With all happiness and contentment, I pursue my teaching career. I relish every moment of my teaching career.
