Dr. Sunitha Grandhee is Professor and Dean  at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Deeemed to be University, Adi Sankara Nilayam, Veliyanad, Ernakulam, Kerala. She received her Ph. D from Indian Institute of  Technology Madras. She did her Post Doctoral studies from Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, Ohio, USA, in the area of Organic Synthesis, Diabetes and Aging Research.  She worked for 24 years at BASF (the worlds largest chemical company) in USA and Germany and 4  years at Exatec (JV of General Electric USA and Bayer Material Science Germany) playing various Senior roles in Research, Technical Marketing and New Business Development Manager. She is also a Six Sigma Blackbelt.   She is a passionate Organic Chemist by profession. She managed a team of research scientists, marketing, looking for new and long- range opportunities. She has numerous publications and patents to her credit. She has been invited to many conferences as a guest speaker on coatings and chemistry. She also taught Organic Chemistry as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Detroit.
