Dr. Surendra HJ, is currently working as Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering ATRIA Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, Kamataka, India. He received M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, Surathkal 2012. Ph.D from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) Surathkal, 2017. His area of research is Sof Computing Applications in Civil Engineering for sustainable development including: Water Environment and agriculture. He got various awards which include Best Teacher. Young achiever from IEAE, Best paper for his publications and project. He has guided Many UG and PG Projects as a Recognized Research guide under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and Guiding Ph.D candidates under VTU So far he has published around 20+ research papers which include national & international journals and conferences, Book Chapter. Also, he is an editorial board member and reviewer of reputed international journals He is a Fellow of International Association for Engineering and Management Education, Life Member of Indian society of Technical Education, India Association of Hydraulics.
