Dr. Suresh Kumar Eknath, currently working as Principal/Secretary (i/c) at State Institute of Hotel Management, Balangir, a pioneer Institute of Odisha.   He has over two decades of rich experience in the field of tourism and hospitality industry.   Apart from all these varied and vast experience, Dr. Eknath got many appreciation letters from top level Government officials as well as many awards from hospitality industry.  He was awarded Best Faculty in the field of training and placement from Hospitality Education award in the year 2019.   And recently he has been awarded with Best Teacher award for the year 2020 from Global Teachers Award.He fell in love with this vibrant ever-growing industry and chose to become a chef his passion for this career can be judged by consecutive award winning performance in the field of carving and Garde’manger.                                                                                                                                  He won two state level awards in (vegetable, ice, jelly, butter and thermocol) carvings and one national level award in vegetable carving boosting his desire to become a proficient chef, but at the back of his mind as a sleeping desire started burning where he felt either to become an entrepreneur or a master creator who can teach many aspiring fresher’s desiring to become a chef.   He chose the second one and today is a dedicated and senior teacher to bring in changes into the lives of hundreds of aspiring students and helping them to become successful chefs in entrepreneurship.
