Dr. Sayyad Shafiyoddin, who holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Dr. Badbasaheb Ambedlkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, currently serves as an Associate Professor of Physics and Head of the Department of Computer and Management Science at Milliya Arts, Science and Management Science College, Beed (Maharashtra). He has over 26 years of experience in teaching Physics and Computer Science, he has supervised six Ph.D. students in Physics, Electronics, and Computer Science Engineering. Dr. Shafiyoddin established the Microwave and Imaging Spectroscopy Research Laboratory at Milliya College, Beed, which has received recognition from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as well as international recognition. He has also completed two research projects as a Principal Investigator, both of which were funded by ISRO. Also, currently he has granted 2 research projects to find water on moon with mineral identification. He is a science team working group member of ISRO Chandrayan-2, 3 and ISRO-NASA Joint Earth Observation Satellite NISAR. Additionally, Dr. Shafiyoddin is an active member of several scientific and academic organizations, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Geophysical Union (AGU), and the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS). He has also been elected as an ISPRS Working Group Officer for the period 2023-2026. His research interests include Microwave and Imaging Spectroscopy (Remote Sensing), Liquid Dielectrics, Image Processing, Nanoelectronics, Condensed Matter Physics, and Embedded System. Dr. Shafiyoddin has published over 100+ research papers and 10 book chapters in reputed national and international journals, and he has presented 40+ research papers at various national and international conferences, workshops, and symposia. He has also attended over 100 National and International conferences and has been invited as a session chair and keynote speaker at several National and International Conferences/ Workshops. Furthermore, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (IETE) (India) and the Indian Academic Researchers Association (FIARA).
