Ms.Tanya Batra is RCI registered Special Educator with 6 years of teaching experience. She has done her bachelor's and master's in special education (Specific Learning Disability) and was awarded a gold medal for her outstanding academic record. She has experience of working with reputed organizations where she supported children having different needs. Ms. Batra has developed this manual while considering the needs of children having specific learning disabilities. During her occupational experience, she observed that children with specific learning disabilities not only face academic challenges but also social-emotional difficulties. Therefore, to support the social-emotional needs of children, this manual was designed. This manual is proven to be effective in developing the self-awareness skills in children.
