Dr. Tauheed Alam is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, UPES, Dehradun. He has had a distinguished career as a student and then as an educator. He has vast experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in various institutions. He received his PhD on the topic "Capital Punishment under Islamic and Indian Criminal Legal Systems: A Comparative Study" from Aligarh Muslim University, India. He has many publications and academic presentations at national and international seminars and conferences. His core areas of interest are Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, and Family Law.
