Dr. M. KARUNAKARAN, Associate Professor in the Post Graduate and Research Department of Physics, Alagappa Government Arts College, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District, Tamilnadu. He has completed his doctoral studies in the field of thin films at Alagappa University Karaikudi. He received his M.Phil from Urumu Dhanalakshmi College and his M.Sc from Periyar E. V.R College in Trichy. He also earned his B.Sc degree in Physics at Sri Sevugan Annamalai College in Devakottai. He has written 9 book chapters and more than 120 research articles, most of which have a material science focus. In IIP, he has a two book namely "Introduction to Atomic Physics" and "Analog Electronics" Additionally, he oversees Ph.D. students. He is an active researcher and reviewer. He has recently concentrated his study on nanomaterials in the biomedical sector. He works and produces under the name "Thin Film and Nano Science Research Laboratory".
