Dr. Venkatesha Naik, born in Karnataka, Tumkuru District of Chikkanayakanalhalli taluk of Aladakatte village to his father Krishna Naik and Mother Lakshmamma. He has studied his primary school in his village, in a government primary school. He studied his high school in Dr. Ambedkar high school and his UG at prestigious Government Art's college Tumkuru. He is now presently working at Bangalore University as an assistant professor of economics for UG under NEP 2020. He was awarded Doctor of Philosophy for his research work on “Role of informal workers in Karnataka”: A case study of construction workers in Tumkuru and Bengaluru Urban District from Bangalore university. He has published his research papers in national and international journals. He engages economics, environmental economics, Labour economics, Micro economics, Macroeconomics, Development and international economics. Classes for PG, UG, IAS and KAS aspirants. He has part in more than 15 years of teaching experience in St. Joseph College Bengaluru.
