Dr Vijaykumar R Punekar is an Assistant Professor of English in PDEA’s Waghire College of Arts, Commerce and Science Saswad, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He obtained Ph.D. from Department of English, S.P. Pune University, Pune. He completed Minor Research Project on H.G.Wells sanctioned by BCUD, S.P. Pune University. He has participated in many national and international seminars as well as conferences. His area of interest is Science Fiction, particularly Indian Science Fiction and he has published scholarly research articles in many reputed national and international journals. He is a member of ISFWA (Indian Science Fiction Writers Association).
