My inspiration for this book comes from my experience during interaction with students at Universities like Southern Illinois University, University of Florida, and University of Sydney. Data analysis is an important step during research. I interacted with SAS software at Southern Illinois University, when I passed a course in biostatistics with Dr. John Reeve. After completing my MS, I have worked as a SAS programmer in different companies like Population Council, United health group and Novartis in the US. Due to my education, research, and teaching experience, I truly believe that this piece of information in the form of SAS codes will be of great help to the student / researcher community.
