Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, the viruses cause respiratory infections which are typically mild including the common cold but rarer forms like SARS and MERS can be lethal. In cows and pigs they may cause diarrhea, while in chickens they can cause an upper respiratory disease. There are no vaccines or antiviral drugs that are approved for prevention or treatment. SARS posed a sudden, significant threat to the world after beginning as an outbreak of atypical pneumonia in Guangdong province of China in November, 2002.1 Transmission of a relatively small number of highly infectious cases appears to have resulted in the spread of infection to nearby Hong Kong, and from there to 32 countries around the world, with related epidemics in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Canada. The pandemic peaked in March and April, gradually coming under control over the next two months, until the World Health Organisation (WHO) reported on 5th July 2003 that the last human case had been described, and the chain of transmission broken. Since then, five additional human cases have been reported, two laboratory-acquired cases in August and December 2003 in Singapore and Taiwan respectively, and three sporadic cases in Guangdong province in December 2003 and January 2004. Now a days there is a new pandemic virus called novel corona virus 2019(ncovid-19) in Wuhan in China during the year of December 2019.
