The book entitled ‘Synthesis of Graphene based Nanocomposites’ is mainly based on the following objectives: (i) discuss fabrication of graphene based nanocomposites using different strategies, (ii) Discuss efficient and low cost method for the synthesis of graphene-metaloxide nanocompostes. The discussion in the book is centered                                                                                                                  on the motivational effort made  to improve the applicability of graphene as a critical component at various potential applications. The book is organized on the basis of synthesis strategies used. On beginning the book discuss different synthesis techniques used for the synthesis of graphene and graphene based nanocomposites in general. Next the book concentrate on two synthesis strategies for graphene based nanocomposites. One is a conventional method and other is a newly developed synthesis strategy, synthesis of graphene nanocomposites using two step electro chemical routes. A detailed discussion is made for      establishing a novel, efficient and cost effective method- ‘Two Step Electrochemical Route’ for the fabrication of graphene based metal oxide nanocomposites. Among this, successful synthesize of Graphene – ZnO nanocomposites as a modal composite is discussed detail .To establish the industrial scalability of the ‘Two Step Electrochemical Route’ for the fabrication of all the transition metal oxide graphene nanocomposites. Further describes two or more successful synthesize  of  Graphene-Metal Oxide nanocomposites. The corresponding synthesis methods were followed by characteristic studies including XRD, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, and TEM. All the synthesized compounds were aimed to explore in the domain of attractive applications like Photocatalysis, Lithium ion batteries, Hydrogen production etc. Some of the synthesis methods discussed here also mentioned and included in author’s  thesis entitled ‘Design and Studies on Graphene –Metal Oxide Nanocomposites for Photocatalysis’
