The writing of this book has been an incredible and a learning journey for me. I started gathering knowledge around the topic in 2021 and it was a learning experience for me to put together literature and scientific data on a topic on which not much research has been done.

This book presents data derived from historical perspective and current evidence present in the literature in a way that eases the understanding of the topic, anaemia in periodontitis, to the students of the field. I hope this book is able to create a basic understanding of the subject as well as answer some of the questions that you may be having regarding the topic.
