Dental technicians actively assist dental surgeons in improving patients' smiles. Being an integral part, it is important for them to know about dental materials which includes its basics, manipulation, applied aspect and various techniques. During our interaction with the students, we realized that they need a specific book for dental mechanic students which is easy and simple for them to prepare for examinations as books they presently refer are vast and elaborative. Hence this manual was written with their needs in mind and contains answers to questions from the past ten years, including those from a recent exam. The intention was to compile crucial points and straight forward solutions that aid students in learning and easy understanding and for the exam preparation of dental materials during their course.
