This book was conceptualized during COVID – 19 pandemic when students all over India were forced to adopt online classes. But we all are aware that online classes are never a substitute to physical classes and can never provide adequate theoretical and practical knowledge to MBBS students. In this situation I wanted to write a book in the simplest manner possible which a student can read easily, remember easily and reproduce easily in the University examination.This book is written in a single line format rather than paragraph format unlike conventional books. I have tried to give enough information that an undergraduate student should know, intentionally avoiding complicated mechanisms and robust datas. Simply, it is an examination oriented book which contains important chapters and each subject includes definition, classification, aetiology, pathogenesis, pathology, clinical features, complications, investigations, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis as it is asked in the examination. For example “Define and classify Pneumonia. Describe the aetiology, pathology, clinical features, complications, diagnosis and management of community acquired pneumonia.”

I am optimistic that a student can cover the whole book easily within a short period without any mental stress. But students are advised to go through the prescribed textbooks first and then go through this handbook which will help them to remember the essential key points more easily and provide enough confidence to appear the examination without fear psychology. All my intention is to impart theoretical and practical knowledge to the students in a more comfortable and leisurely manner without any mental stress and tension. With changing MBBS study curriculum, I wish this book will help in guiding the medical students while dealing with a patient at bedside and appearing the University examination.I pray God for the success and healthy lives of all my students.
