Life cannot be imagined without the wheel of communication, because every activity of human life, be it personal life, business or public life, keeps thriving on verbal and written communication. Indeed we do all our activities in the world of words. Communication acts as the life-blood of modern world of business, commerce and trade. More the effective communication, the better it is.  But we can change this world by changing our words. It is true as Robert Frost, an eminent American poet has rightly said “half the world is composed of people who have something to say and can’t, and the other half who have nothing to say and keep on saying it.” Therefore right people should communicate at right time to keep the world in order.

 Prof. Harish has tried to communicate in his book on different nuances of communication like leadership lesson, Poojya Dr. Appaji’s administrative philosophy, how to win your employees and influence them, human values for Indian managers, ethics in the workplace, time management, in search of lost time, team management skills, career skills etc. He has tried to introduce some of the novel concepts in his book, which indeed augurs well for students of communication. The book is written in a simple language and lucid way. It is handy and a useful book. May the readers be amply benefitted by it. I thank Prof. Harish for his yeoman services and also for requesting me to write few words on this book in form of preface. May he be victorious in his venture and pen many more books of this kind. Remember as it is well said there is no path to communication; communication is the path. Let us keep communicating in a better way.
